Town Tavern Supports Family Days for Children with Autism

For the second year in a row, Town Tavern was honored to participate in the Family Days for Children with Autism at this year's Ford Arts, Beats & Eats.  Town Tavern provided lunches for over 400 families who were selected by the Autism Alliance of Michigan and Autism Speaks.  Families also received all-access passes to the Labor Day weekend even in downtown Royal Oak.

Town Tavern hosts 5-Course Beer Dinner Featuring Brewery Vivant

In mid-February, Town Tavern hosted a Beer Dinner featuring a full 5-course meal and the beer of Brewery Vivant. Guests enjoyed dishes created specifically for this event by Town Tavern Executive Chef Raymond Backers and a selection of beer perfectly matched to each course. The menu featured Bison 'Pot Roast,' Pork Cheek Tamale and Spherification, among other dishes. A representative from Brewery Vivant led a conversation about the beer and the dishes inspired by it. Guests came to our Royal Oak tavern from all over to attend this fabulous evening of food and phenomenal beer.

Roberts Restaurant Group Provides Strolling Dinner for CARE House Event

On January 28th, all of the Roberts Restaurant Group restaurants came together to provide a strolling dinner for the 2014 Circle of Friends Preview Party, an annual fundraising event hosted by CARE House of Oakland County. The non-profit CARE House is a leading resource in the prevention of child abuse. Special guest John Walsh — a longtime voice for child victim advocacy — appeared at this well-attended event.
